"Spice Girls' Mel B presented Lambert with the group's Davidson/Valenti Award, which is named after Craig Davidson, GLAAD's first executive director, and his partner Michael Valentini, and is presented to an openly LGBT media professional who has made a significant difference in promoting gay rights.

“His rise as one of the world's best selling pop stars proves to everyone that you can be yourself, your individual, unique, perfect self and succeed in this industry,” Mel B said in introducing Lambert.

“Adam is ridiculously talented, fearless and fantastic,” she added with a finger snap."
