BMW:   Munich/Vienna - May 25, 2013 - For the 13th consecutive year, MINI has donated one of its models to the Life Ball to be styled by an internationally renowned designer for a good cause. 2013 sees the MINI Paceman endowed with the creative signature of Roberto Cavalli.   A few hours before the start of the AIDS charity event on 25 May, the Italian fashion designer and his wife unveiled the one-off MINI during the official Life Ball Press Conference. As part of the AIDS Solidarity Gala in Vienna’s Hofburg Palace, the Life Ball MINI 2013 will be auctioned from 17 hrs on, with the proceeds benefiting projects committed to combating AIDS. Tonight at Life Ball’s magenta carpet Roberto Cavalli will present the MINI to the public.

The iridescent brown/black paint is the eye-catcher in the sketch above (click to enlarge), but don't forget to note Cavalli's logo on the roof. We're not sure what other flourishes he has in mind for the car, but those in attendance will find out on May 24 when it's unveiled at the Cavalli store opening in Vienna.

The next day the renowned designer will jet into Vienna where he will open his first Flagship Store in the Austrian capital, a grand boutique characterised by the sophisticated concept and modern philosophy of the Cavalli world. Cavalli will then host the largest charity event in Europe, the Life Ball.

The high-profile charity fund-raising event will include a major fashion show featuring an unprecedented anthology of typically fabulous Cavalli pieces, all inspired by the One Thousand and One Nights theme of this year's ball.

Last but not least, Cavalli will then auction off a personalised Mini car in the style of the celebrated fashion house, with all proceeds being donated to the Life Ball foundation.
